Tucson Electric Power Company and Hudbay Minerals are planning to jointly construct the Santa Rita Substation. This joint project could result in residential ratepayers subsidizing Hudbay’s cost to connect the Copper World mine to TEP’s power grid.

Agreed .it seems very shady….. And likely that they will get away with it one way or another
The TEP-Hudbay Joint Venture is a very corrupt and shady deal, which enables the destruction of an ecologically sensitive environment. The scenic Santa Rita Mountains need to me protected. Hudbay is a corrupt mining racketeering enterprise, which MUST be stopped! Those corrupt corporations don’t care about the health of the people, or the amount and cleanliness of our water resources. They just want to enrich themselves and line their own pockets!
