Mission
Save the Scenic Santa Ritas Association, Inc. protects the scenic, aesthetic, recreational, and environmental values of the Santa Rita Mountains, including its watersheds, plant, animal, and human communities. Our work opposes environmental degradation caused by industrial mining and supports restoration and community-based protection of resources. With a strong record of success, SSSR partners and works closely with other environmental organizations, indigenous groups, communities and government agencies charged with the ethical stewardship of our public lands.
