Pima County Administrator Jan Lesher sent out a barrage of letters on Friday, telling investors, two Canadian regulators and the heads of Mitsubishi about problems facing Copper World before a forthcoming feasibility study demonstrating the mine’s future. In her letters, Lesher warned there are “unresolved risks” presented by in the controversial open-pit mine project about 30 miles southeast of Tucson.
