More than a dozen leaders in Southern Arizona urged Gov. Katie Hobbs to block an auction of 160 acres of state-owned land in the Santa Ritas mountains slated to hold mine tailing for Copper World, the controversial open-pit mine about 30 miles southwest of Tucson.
