Copper World Town Hall Meeting
12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10
The Good Shepherd United Church of Christ
17750 S. La Cañada Drive, Sahuarita, AZ 85629
Join us to learn how Toronto-based Hudbay Minerals’ proposed Copper World mining project would deplete precious groundwater, threaten public health and safety, and raise your utility bills.
Please join us at 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10 at The Good Shepherd United Church of Christ for a vigorous discussion about the future of Sahuarita, Green Valley, and the Santa Rita Mountains.
An informed community is a strong community.

Resident of Green Valley. I am not alone in my love of the Santa Rita Mountains. As I look at them each morning, their awesomeness gives me power and joy in the beauty of nature. I know that is not a strong argument against their destruction, but these are reasons why. Toronto-based Hudbay Minerals’ proposed Copper World mining project would deplete precious groundwater, threaten public health and safety, and raise your utility bills.
Hudbay Minerals are not to be trusted with such a valuable (not in minerals and profit) natesource that can never be replaced.
Received a reply that my sentiments have been posted in the past. I need to reiterate my opinions
