Enviros challenge planned 160-acre land sale for Copper World mine near Tucson

Environmentalists filed a formal protest Friday, attempting to block an auction of 160 acres of state-owned land in the Santa Rita Mountains slated to hold mine tailings for Copper World, a controversial open-pit mine about 30 miles southeast of Tucson.
