SSSR is thrilled to be joining the Sierra Club - Grand Canyon (Arizona) Chapter and local organizer Erick Meza with Sierra Club Borderlands as they host a hike in the Santa Rita Mountains.

There are currently 6 open pit mines being proposed in the area that would have a devastating impact on this area. Learn from experts about the impacts of mining on water and wildlife while enjoying this moderate to easy 2-mile roundtrip hike, starting from the Oak tree trailhead.
